Your medication should ideally be kept refrigerated while abroad, particularly in warmer climates.
If refrigeration is not available, most GLP-1 injectable pens can still be used safely for up to 30 days provided they are stored below 30°C. Avoid leaving medication in direct sunlight, parked cars, or hot luggage compartments.
If the medication has been exposed to temperatures above 30°C for a prolonged period, it should not be used as this may affect its effectiveness and safety.
