🚫 Pregnancy
GLP-1 medications are not recommended during pregnancy. If you become pregnant while on treatment, stop the medication and speak to your doctor or our clinical team immediately.
⏳ Trying for a baby
You should stop your GLP-1 medication before trying to conceive. The recommended washout periods before pregnancy are:
- Mounjaro (tirzepatide): Stop at least 1 month before
- Wegovy (semaglutide): Stop at least 2 months before
- Exenatide: Stop at least 12 weeks before
🤱 Breastfeeding
GLP-1 medications are not recommended while breastfeeding, as there is limited safety data.
